Duration of the Programme

Bugema University’s Department of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences offers programs with structured durations tailored to practical, sustainable training. The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Animal Science option), Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management, and Bachelor of Environmental Science each span 4 years (8 semesters), integrating coursework, field research on our 640-acre farms, and hands-on projects for expertise in crop innovation, soil management, and ecosystem conservation. Our Diploma in Agriculture and Diploma in Environmental Science run for 2 years (4 semesters), providing foundational skills for immediate roles in agribusiness or environmental stewardship. Flexible full time and part time options support diverse learners.
