Bugema University Administration Visits New Science Complex as Construction Progresses
On the evening of August 26, 2025, the administration of Bugema University conducted an official visit to the new Science Complex a state of the art facility currently under construction at the university’s main campus in Luwero District. The visit, led by the Vice Chancellor and other senior administrators, aimed to assess the progress of the construction and to ensure that the complex is being developed in line with the institution’s standards and vision for academic excellence.
The Science Complex, once completed, will serve as a modern hub for scientific research, innovation, and advanced learning. It will house well-equipped laboratories, lecture halls, academic offices, and a fully integrated conference center, offering students and faculty a dynamic environment to engage in cutting-edge scientific study and collaborative research.
The construction of the Science Complex is part of Bugema University’s broader strategic plan to expand and modernize its academic infrastructure. This development is especially significant at a time when the demand for science and technology education in Uganda and across Africa is rapidly growing.
