Bugema University is pleased to celebrate members of its staff who have recently taken on leadership roles in professional bodies and reached significant academic milestones. Prof. Dr. Masiko Israel Kafeero - President, PAUC

Our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Masiko Israel Kafeero, was elected President of the Pan African Adventist Universities and Colleges Association (PAUC) on 4th September 2026 during the Annual General Meeting having served as Acting President since April 2025. His election gives him an opportunity to continue contributing to the growth and development of Adventist higher education across Africa.

Mr. Okoth Ronald Otieno - Vice President, EA Higher Education Quality Assurance Network

We congratulate our Director of Quality Assurance, Mr. Okoth Ronald Otieno, upon his election as Vice President of the East African Higher Education Quality Assurance Network. The position will enable him to contribute to regional discussions and initiatives on quality assurance in higher education.

Mrs. Rugwiza Specioza Nyanzi - Deputy General Secretary, Uganda Deans of Students Forum

Our Dean of Students, Mrs. Rugwiza Specioza Nyanzi, was elected Deputy General Secretary of the Uganda Deans of Students Forum during the recent Annual General Assembly, held at Bishop Stuart University, Mbarara.. We congratulate her upon this appointment and recognise her continued contribution to student affairs and higher education in Uganda.

Dr. Janepher Mbabazi -PhD Achievement

Bugema University also congratulates Dr. Janepher Mbabazi upon successfully defending her PhD. Her achievement marks an important milestone in her academic journey and adds to the University’s growing community of scholars. Congratulations!
